Responsibilities of Editors
Editors at RIPK are entrusted with the following responsibilities:

- Making recommendations regarding the acceptance, revision, or rejection of submissions based on scientific merit, originality, and relevance.
- Upholding ethical standards in publishing guidelines and RIPK policies on research integrity.
- Collaborating with authors, reviewers, and editorial staff to improve the quality and clarity of manuscripts.
- Participating in editorial meetings, policy discussions, and strategic initiatives to advance the journal’s mission.
Qualifications
Ideal candidates for editorial positions possess the following qualifications:
- A Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree in a relevant discipline is normally required. In exceptional cases, candidates with substantial scholarly contributions and recognized expertise may be considered.
- Established expertise in their respective field, demonstrated through publications, citations, and professional recognition.
- Previous editorial experience or active participation in peer review is highly desirable.
- Strong commitment to ethical scholarly publishing, including transparency, reproducibility, and integrity.
- Ability to manage editorial tasks efficiently while maintaining high standards of communication and professionalism.
